I am very honored to be elected President of the Capitola Aptos Rotary Club. I sincerely Thank you all.
I first joined Rotary in 1980, as a new Doctor and have since been a Member of seven different Rotary Clubs around central Northern California.
My Father in Law, Richard originally brought me into the Rotary Family and taught me the basics, essentials and commitments of being a "Real" Rotarian. He had 47 years of perfect attendance in an impossible professional travel schedule around the world and had served as President of the Beverly Hills, Ca. Rotary.
He was a man, an executive that received many high Professional National Honors, a CPA, A UCLA Summa Cum Laude, President of the National Board of Accountancy, but as he told me, his proudest plaque on his distinguished and extensive wall of recognized service and merit, was his Rotary Presidency.
I concur. I know some things about many of you, I do not know as much as I want to know about any of You. I am here to serve the Capitola Aptos Rotary. Everything I do as your President will be targeted at " What is best for the Capitola Aptos Club? " I will not always be " right" in every members opinions! Lets talk it out and work together to improve the CLUB. I need your help. I need every Rotarian to help me every day. I will make mistakes and I trust you can advise me constructively to make me a better President and ours a better Club.
