Why Rotary?

Today we held a successful " Why Rotary " Day  roundtable where 14 Potential Rotarian guests were hosted to a "free lunch" then subjected, once trapped, to the history, purpose and contributions of the CAP Rotary.( We got the small room anyhow.. How.. intimate)

President Kelly ( I am BEOWOLF!)  explained the importance of the Four Way Test and Introduced the Club's  new  successful thumping/ rhythmic songs of his  Pagan Lutheran past unto the eardrums of our unsuspecting guests. Good Job Beowolf!  Then President elect, Keith( the Duracel Grandpa,) explained the IntraNational, Regional and Local Projects that CAP ( Guatemala) participates/and contributes to.   THEN..(Just to add to the frothing excitement) Lori Mullen (the Lion Tamer) was called upon to briefly speak on the FIJI Project (which may become the ( Shush!) Kenya Project  This was followed by  the  CAP God father, ex district  Rotary  Gov John who attempted to address  the now myriad Paul Harris Foundations.   Club Disbursment Chair Claire M spoke for the efficacy of the  newly Reformed/Grants Committee guidelines and the 14 local non profits we supported in 2011. All in All a successful meeting and perhaps we attracted some new Members. Time will tell.
